How I created this painting

Frank Junior was painted using acrylic paints onto canvas. Each section of the piece was masked and painted individually, allowed to dry, then the next segment the same and so on. Masking and painting is very slow process and Frank took the best part of 3 months to complete. He was inspired by the guitar designs of Eddie Van Halen (Google 'Van Halen Frankenstein guitar' and see what I mean). This is my own interpretation of the theme.
