Well, I mean, the main reason is because they are brilliant and you love them but there are other ways to pursuade you...

Deal with me direct – not some overpriced, faceless gallery

I am a real person. I am not mysterious or aloof. When you buy into the Swarez ownership experience you get so much more than a sales invoice and a business card. You can mail me (I answer everyone personally), you can ring me or you can call in at the studio for a chinwag. Abstract Art is for everyone and I believe access to the artist goes with that. Don’t pay Gallery prices with obscene commissions. There is always another way. This is my way.

My paintings offer exceptional value for money

I don’t have a swanky marble-floored gallery to look after; nor do I have massive overheads so I don’t price my work using telephone numbers. To me that’s just plain wrong.  Each painting is valued according to its size, complexity, time taken to paint and materials used. I create and sell all kinds of sizes of work and have prices ranging from a few hundred pounds to multiple thousands, and every stage in between. Even my huge and very technical pieces are a lot less than you would pay on the open (Gallery) market for an equivalent.

Each work of art is original and unique

There’s something about owning an original artwork that’s not easily put into words. However, you can also buy Limited Edition prints of selected pieces too. When you buy an original piece of art from me you are the only person in the world who will ever have it. You won’t get more exclusive than that.

You can’t buy a Swarez anywhere else

You may already know how much I despise the gallery network and the traditional way of doing things. I would rather quit than do things this way. This website is the ONLY place you can buy my work. I have three agents globally but they DON’T hold any of my paintings. It’s me and me only.

There’s always something new going on

I work constantly so there are always new paintings coming onto the site. I also sell well too so it’s best not to leave it too long in deciding whether to buy. Visit one day then come back another and the chances are that there’s something else different to look at. Sure I go through phases but my output is ferocious… I have no idea why or how; it just is.

I only use the best materials

I only work with triple primed Belgian and Italian canvas and kiln dried hardwood frames. I hand cut, hand stretch and hand staple all the paintings I create. Paints are the best and most dense enamels I can buy (which I have made specially for me) and all other mediums are carefully sourced from reputable suppliers.

I am not stuck in one style or genre

I paint with complete freedom. I spend hours thinking, scribbling and observing shapes, forms and colours in an attempt to always create something new and different. As such my styles (if you can call it that) are constantly changing.
You want circles?, I do those; you want splash and drip? I do that too – in fact there’s not much I haven’t had a go at (well, except portraits – I really suck at those).

My business grows in the recession whilst others decline

Artists everywhere are struggling to make ends meet. Global economics are shifting demand in ways we can’t predict. However, I don’t have that problem. I understand my market, I price with value and quality in mind and (most importantly) I create art that people want to own. My work is becoming more and more widespread across the world – join me; be part of the revolution.

I will give you your money back if you are not satisfied

If you really hate what you’ve just bought I will refund your money in full. So what the hell have you got to lose? In 48 hours you could have one of my paintings hanging in your space with absolutely NO hassle. I make everything very painless and easy. (Galleries – take note). My art is appreciating in value

The talk of future values is a vulgar one but the bare fact is that as more and more people buy my paintings the more they are becoming sought after. My list of commissions is so big I would class it as a waiting list! No joke! Supply and demand will dictate the rest. Now is THE time to buy.
