‘Gerzoo’ corporate commission
Recent exciting corporate commission in a coffee shop

One of my most recent commercial projects was for 12 pieces of art for a coffee shop . The central theme downstairs was to promote the idea of coffee and of the brand name – both of which can be seen in the large piece below. The richness of shading and it’s location help to fulfill this criteria.

The large focal piece on the ground floor situated where everyone can see it and very close to the point of sale. I installed four pieces to fill some tall structural pillars whilst the green piece is located on the way to the toilet area – its colours and form offering a relaxing and fresh feeling to a very bright and powerful colour scheme.

Personally I think the stairwell is the focal point of the whole shop. The bright orange walls are very powerful so I created a staggered triptych full of shapes, textures, arcs, splatters and a tremendous feeling of energy and motion. The clients wanted the ‘WOW factor’ – I think they got it!. The largest of these three pieces is over 3 metres tall.

Commissioning me to paint large pieces of art, and in quantity, is NOT cheap (factor in my visits to see you, design proofs and delivery, fitting and installation as well as building bespoke frames, stretching and priming canvas – and that’s before I even start painting).  However, what you get is a complete art-owning experience from start to finish. One email is all it takes – and you don’t even have to say yes when I come to see you.
