The last few days have seen a flurry of activity on the studio despite having been tied up on finishing my new website makeover and doing some SEO and web stuff for a client of mine. Anyway these pictures, unashamedly taken on my pants iPhone camera give you an idea about the pieces I am working on right now. I am always usually led by what paints I have available and then consider what I can do with them, however, on this occasion I planned for the sessions by buying a new kind of water based acrylic beforehand so I could get an idea of what I was going to do before I went into the studio.
I have produced four very different works in a very eclectic style – I always try to mix up my styles so that I am constantly pushing myself to try new things and also give a wider choice to people viewing the site. I’m trying to develop no style if that makes sense, rather than to be recognised as me because of the type of painting I do.
