This has so many benefits – most obviously that of control. You choose how big, colours, etc… finding the things that work for you and the space you’re trying to fill. I have simplified the process to make it as trouble free as possible (which it actually is). No matter what style of art suits you from Modern to Contemporary to Abstract – I can pretty much give you what you want. I can paint any size, from large to small and in any colour you can think of.

That’s right, nothing. This is the unique thing that separates me from almost all other artists. I’ll normally come to see you and have a look at the space you want to fill, chat and measure up – and I’ll price it for you there and then. If we’re mailing or speaking on the phone then I’ll give you a price within 24 hours. This stays 100% FIXED and includes everything. I’ll go away and paint a canvas based on what we talked about. I’ll mail you the results of the first one and you can give me feedback on what you like and don’t like. I’ll take that into the next version and so on until we get to a point that you’re happy with. If it takes a number of goes then I’m fine with that. The most important thing is getting the painting right for you; everything else comes second.
When you get to a point of falling in love with a couple of canvases we’ll arrange for me to visit you (UK only) and I’ll bring them, together with the timbers for the frame, and stretch it right there and then. Once you’ve decided which one you want I’ll even hang it for you. This is the point at which you pay and not before.
I’m a good guy, I listen, interpret and create but bear in mind that the more you constrain the criteria the less you get of me in the painting – something you may want to consider before hitting the send button on your email. Art is about expressing yourself and being free to do what you want to do. If you like my work enough to want to buy into that then think about that carefully. I love painting commissions as I get the chance to really do something fantastic every time – meaning that I can give someone a piece they have always wanted, it doesn’t get much better than that.
**NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL (NON-UK) COMMISSIONS**
Naturally I cannot drive to your home and hang the painting (sorry!). However, the process remains the same up until the point you decide which one you like (which will be done via Hi-Res photographs). Once you decide which one you want you pay, I roll it and send it to you and then it’s up to you get it stretched over a frame local to you. This avoids the massive costs of sending an item with a large volumetric weight overseas. You can of course specify that you want it to be stretched over a frame and completed over here (by me) but that will mean I have to add shipping costs to any quote we agree on.
