You CAN do this. You can actually create your own art with the colours and shapes that you really want—I’ll show you how. And unlike many other ‘experiences’ this one has something to show for it at the end—your own piece of art, delivered by me (when it’s dry) to any UK mainland address about a week or so later.

The hardest thing of all with my painting days is deciding to do it in the first place. The type of painting you will be doing is all about expressing yourself, letting go and doing something unique to you. Don’t panic—I’ll give you everything you need to produce something extraordinary. All you need is the desire to let it all go! We can paint in almost any medium and virtually any style but most people’s favourite is the drip art style. To learn more about what this is click A Guide to Drip Art. The cost includes canvas, paint, wood and other materials, food and drink and delivery a week later (when it’s dry) to any UK mainland address, by me. To be honest, painting is not about the end result – it’s about the process of getting there….that’s the real beauty of it..it’s a day like no other…and it’s FUN, 100% FUN!

Before the big day we’ll talk about colours, sizes and shapes and cover other small details. Very painless I assure you. I will ask you about colours in depth so I can get them in for you before you arrive. When the big day arrives we pretty much get stuck in straight away. You cut the canvas, choose and mix your own paints and tools then it’s paint time. We’ll cut a practice piece before lunch just so you can get the feel for what everything does. We then tackle your own after a visit to the pub!
When your canvas dries I will hand-build a frame and then stretch and staple it together. Delivery to your home (normally about a week later) is included in the cost.
Don’t think about what it’s going to look like or have doubts on your own ability. We will be splash, drip and throw painting so form, perspective and realism go straight through the window! I don’t do rules I just paint. It is just you, me, a big sheet of canvas and all the paint you could ever possibly want. Oh and cake and coffee of course…
I have 2300 sq.ft studio on a busy industrial park in Stroud (Gloucestershire) – easily situated a short distance from the M5 motorway (J13). Here you can paint against the walls, on the floor or even in my splash pool. There’s room to chill out and contemplate and lots of convenient parking.
I have full public liability insurance and provide all Personal Protection Equipment where required.
