As you may have gathered I like physics and all that associates itself with it. It’s hard not to get inspired by some of the images from Hubble over the last few years, particularly with things like nebulae and collapsing star systems. For me this painting is less about decay and more about growth; the very nature of the matter being held in numerous states of existence all at the same time. That principle fascinates me on a constant basis.

This original piece of Swarez contemporary art was painted in a number of shades of my own formula enamels onto a three-times-primed 12oz Belgian canvas then hand stretched by me around a kiln-dried, seasoned hardwood timber frame and stapled, by hand, on the reverse so the painting goes all the way around the edges.

He is resistant to UV fading and to temperature fluctuations (making him ideal for a fireplace, games room, home cinema or conservatory). He measures 225cm x 60cm x 44mm deep..
