An abstract art painting in tropical colours.
How happy is this painting? Tons of rich tropical shades and lots of movement reminds me of crisp coastal breezes, carpets of luscious blooms and a sky full of every colour you can think of. This painting will add warmth and depth to any space it hangs in.
I’ve got a particular technique I use to lay the acrylic paint on thick; something that allows me to move paint into all sort of patterns and shapes. Sometimes I’ll scoop it into peaks and other times I like to remove all of it – leaving the merest hint of colour in it’s place.
Compared to all the other works of art on the site this one is a more sensible size (boo) so will be a lot easier to fit into your life. But then again, who cares about that? Buy something big instead – sell a kidney if you have too, it will be worth it I promise.
I love the deep ochres and reds, the stark yellow and rich, indulgent purples and cerise’s. OK so I love most colours – so what? It’s one of the few things that universally connects us all. Good job I have put a broad cross section of them in here I guess. The photos really don’t do this painting justice I’m afraid; hope you get to see it for real one day. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
