Radiate 2 is an original small painting that’s another celebration of all things exploding. I am fascinated by the way things move outwards from a central point and use it as a source of inspiration in many paintings. In this one I used some interesting colour choices and gone with pink and green as the two main ones.
The amazing explosive quality is contained in a small space which is quite and achievement for me as I normally have to work a lot larger to get this effect!
The painting is approximately 500mm square.
The art work is finished with a 2mm mount that’s set inside a laser-cut aluminium frame. This gets covered with a Plexiglass (acrylic) front (a high quality PVC alternative to glass). This can be removed if you wish. The canvas is mounted to a 6mm aluminium base so it’s got some real substance to it.
