Four Calling Birds
The fourth day of Christmas was painted during one of four live streaming events broadcast in November and December of 2020. This particular painting was created in the first one along with two others. You can see its creation on my 12 Days of Christmas live painting stream.
This was started with the base coat, blended together using gold and maroon gently moved toward each other and just a hint of blue. Yes the famous Swarez blue used and orange thrown into the mix. Left to slowly blend and the last component was the white creating a stop point for the earlier paint applications!
The painting measures 80cm x 80cm.
Finishing
The art work was hand stretched around a seasoned timber frame so that the painting goes all the way round the edges. It has a wonderful texture thanks to the way the paint layers are built up and it comes with full certification.
