Nine Ladies Dancing
The ninth day of Christmas was painted during one of four live streaming events broadcast in November and December of 2020. This particular painting was created in the third one along with two others. You can see its creation on my 12 Days of Christmas live painting stream.
Did I use nine colours or not? Maybe nine spin table rotations? To be honest I can’t remember so i shall go and watch the video again! The result is an effortless artwork that features an unusual colour combination as well as some stunning details and finishes.
The painting measures 80cm x 80cm.
Finishing
The art work was hand stretched around a seasoned timber frame so that the painting goes all the way round the edges. It has a wonderful texture thanks to the way the paint layers are built up and it comes with full certification.
