Partridge in a Pear Tree
The first day of Christmas was painted during one of four live streaming events broadcast in November and December of 2020. This particular painting was created in the first one along with two others. You can see its creation on my 12 Days of Christmas live painting stream.
An abstract tree, branches swaying in the wind, do you see it? that partridge! Our famous Swarez Blue used along with maroon, orange and a host of other colours set on a green background. Plenty of movement here!
The painting measures 90cm x 80cm.
Finishing
The art work was hand stretched around a seasoned timber frame so that the painting goes all the way round the edges. It has a wonderful texture thanks to the way the paint layers are built up and it comes with full certification.
