Goldeneye is a spin painting from my collection of small radial spin art.
I love black and gold as a base combination in any kind of art. From Egyptian treasures to Chinese vases it’s a classic marriage of desire and power.
With Goldeneye I’ve added a very light blue and the tiniest hint of red to open up the colour scheme a little and add a couple of shifting focal points to an already very intriguing painting.
It’s what you could call a more classically interpreted spin painting; it has a couple of distinctive radial patterns and the usual after-effect of paint manipulation by centrifugal force.
The gold is particularly rich being a very shiny metallic that shimmers as you walk past it. The black is dense and final and serves as the perfect contrast to the other tones at work here. Bringing in white and grey in the centre has given the painting energy and life. It also feels very grown up too, if you get my drift?
This painting is shipped ready to hang and, although I prefer it hung like a diamond you can hang it anyway you like. Worldwide shipping is available – costs are calculated at the checkout before you decide to buy. Any problems, drop me a mail.
