Heaven in my Hands is a spin painting from my collection of small radial spin art.
In yet another attempt to come up with something different, and use a modified version of circular motion, I came up with this serene and ephemeral painting.
The colours are rich but applied and thinned in a very subtle way. The name came afterwards by the way as this was really just me finding a way to use a very slow spin to move the paints into a series of unusual shapes.
The bread and butter of this piece are the colours – bright sky blue, warm orange and a hint of red all give way to the marginal suggestions of cream and white. It’s these tones that add lightness and promote a sense of elevation skywards. After experiencing that from a number of angles the name was easy to find. Careful blending of the lighter tones have resulted in some really nice pastel variations of the main colours.
This painting is shipped ready to hang and, although I prefer it hung like a diamond you can hang it anyway you like. Worldwide shipping is available – costs are calculated at the checkout before you decide to buy. Any problems, drop me a mail.
